Settings

You open the settings via the icons at the top left of the game. They are divided into several sections – here is what you will find where.

Player profile

Here you write your profile text, pick one of the titles you have earned (Titles) and set your avatar and flag. This is how you appear in the ranking and in your profile.

Client & connection

• Language: switch the game language here and see your player ID.
• Image packs: selectable separately for computers and mobile devices – low, good or high (HD). On slow connections or older devices, a smaller pack helps. The game recognizes mobile devices by their browser identification.
• Controls: show a report when a fleet is launched, open message and planet windows offset, animations (computer only), show the time directly in chat messages and open spy reports immediately.
• Connection: ping, transferred data, playing time and server requests – handy when you report a connection problem to support.

Vacation mode and IP match

Vacation Mode is an official break of 2 to 60 days during which nobody can attack you. The log shows your most recent vacations. In the IP match management you register when several players use the same internet connection (IP Match).

Planet management

Here you rename planets, change their order in the planet selection ("save new order") and delete planets you no longer need. You cannot delete your last planet, nor a planet with running construction or research orders or fleet movements (Planets).

Privacy

You decide whether the team may view your private and alliance messages or your chat messages if a rule violation is suspected. Without this consent you cannot use the message system or the chat – but you can play the rest of the game in full (Privacy & Data Protection).
