Diplomacy

Non-aggression pact, coalition or wing: diplomacy is how your alliance handles its relations with other alliances.

On your alliance diplomacy page, members with the right "Can sign diplomatic contracts" manage the relations with other alliances. A new contract starts out as "not confirmed" – it only counts as "confirmed" once the other alliance agrees. There are three types:

  • Non-aggression pact (NAP) – you promise not to attack each other. This is a promise between alliances: the game itself does not prevent attacks between NAP partners.
  • Coalition – the closest partnership. Members of confirmed coalition alliances cannot attack each other.
  • Wing – links a main alliance with its wing alliance, such as an academy or a second alliance. Attacks are blocked between confirmed wing partners as well.

Things to keep in mind

Existing contracts can be dissolved again. The public alliance profile shows your partners as allies. When writing a circular mail, the leadership can choose to also send it to NAP partners, coalition partners, wing alliances or war enemies – handy for joint planning (Alliances).
