Interval cannon

"The hammer": for its price, the interval cannon delivers the most firepower of all guns – but its shield is thin.

The interval cannon hits extremely hard but has a weak shield. With 900 attack it beats the positron lighter while costing fewer resources. It requires Particle analyzer level 4 and Targeting systems level 10.

+ Bonus damage against the Battle ship.
– A weak shield and less hull than the Positron Lighter or the Laser cannon battery. The Phoenix deals bonus damage to it.
– Needs some spice.

Background

The interval cannon is a mechanical weapon, which fires salves within a short time frame. Direct hits on armors result in heavy damage. Phoenix are aware of the danger and have optimized tracking and targeting devices for interval cannons.
