Weapons technology

+10% attack power per level for all your ships and defenses – the foundation of every hard-hitting fleet.

Effect

Each level of Weapons technology increases the attack value of your ships and defenses in combat by 10%. This applies when attacking just as much as when defending your planets (Combat system).

Together with Shield technology and Defense systems it forms the combat trio of attack, shield and structure. Better combat research can at least partly make up for being outnumbered. It requires a Research lab at level 3. From level 2 it unlocks the Warship.

If you fight regularly – against players or against aliens (Aliens) – develop the three combat research fields in a balanced way instead of pushing a single one far ahead.

Background

Weapons Technology deals with onboard weaponry, which can be used more and more effectively at higher levels of research. The attack value of ships increases by 10% with each level.
