Teleporting fleets

With a teleporter and teleportation research your fleet jumps between your own planets with no flight time and no fuel – even across galaxies.

Flights between distant planets often take hours. The Teleporter, on the other hand, opens a portal through which your fleet and its cargo jump to another of your planets with no delay at all. To build it you need Teleportation and the Microsystem accelerator.

What you need

  • A Teleporter on the start planet and on the target planet – both must be activated at the time.
  • Enough particle energy in both teleporters. Like the particle cannon and shield, the teleporter charges from the planet's energy surplus. You decide which storage charges first in the Economy window (Particle attack).
  • The further apart start and target are, the more energy the jump costs, and every jump has a minimum price. Higher teleporter levels store more energy and thus allow longer jumps.

How to teleport

  1. In the buildings menu, activate the teleporter of the start planet and also that of the target planet. An activated teleporter stays open for 10 minutes.
  2. In the fleet window, pick your ships, the target planet and the Teleportation mission. In the "Your planets" list, planets with an active teleporter are marked with [T].
  3. The fleet arrives instantly, together with the resources you loaded. You need no fuel, and no fleet slot is used. The energy is taken from both teleporters, and both are deactivated again afterwards.
