Missions

Escape flight, attack, espionage, transport and more: every fleet mission at a glance – what it does and what you need for it.

Which missions you are offered depends on the ships you picked and on the target. If a mission is missing, there is almost always a reason – such as attack protection, the target being in vacation mode, a recent planet move or ships that are not suited for that mission.

The basic missions

  • Escape flight: Takes your fleet and resources to safety, because nobody can attack a fleet in flight. Escape flights are invisible to scanners, and the target can be any position except the planet you start from. Everything about it in Escape flight.
  • Transport: Delivers resources to one of your own planets or to another player. The ships unload and fly back empty. You cannot deliver to alien planets, to players in vacation mode, to inactive players or to players you have an IP match with (IP Match).
  • Station: Moves ships and their cargo permanently to one of your own planets.
  • Attack: A battle against an attackable player – the winner plunders resources. You need at least one combat ship. The Colony ship, the Spy probe, the Jammer probe and the EMP-Bomb do not count. An attack flight may take at most 24 hours. See Combat system.
  • Spy: A fleet made up only of probes (Spy probe) scouts a foreign planet. At alien planets the Jammer probe takes over this job. More in Espionage.
  • Colonize: A Colony ship settles a free position – as long as you have not reached your planet limit. See Colonization.
  • Recycle: Recycler units collect the resources from a debris field. At alien planets Scanner ship units may fly along. See Recycling.

Special missions

  • Teleportation: An instant jump with no flight time and no fuel between two of your own planets with an activated Teleporter. It costs energy from the teleporters. See Teleporting fleets.
  • Particle blast off: Not a ship flight, but a shot from your Particle cannon at an enemy's defenses – with priority on either shields or defense. It has no effect on aliens. See Particle attack.
  • Alien planets: Spying and attacking there only work with Jammer probe units. EMP-Bomb units weaken the planet's shield. See Alien planets.
  • Black holes: You launch these flights from the black holes window, not via the normal fleet command (Black holes).
