The Turboflak has more than six times the attack of a mortar per installation and can also take six times as much damage. For this you need Energy technology level 6 and Weapons factory level 6.

+ Bonus damage against the Transmitter – strong against raids with big freighters.
– Only a mediocre shield, and the Transmitter deals bonus damage to it in return.

Background

The turbo flak is especially effective against attacks from transmitters with its enhanced targeting systems. Its light armor makes it vulnerable to attacks from any ships with high fire power.
