Fleet commands
How to send your fleet: set a target, pick ships, choose mission, speed and cargo – explained step by step.
Everything your ships do – hauling, attacking, spying, recycling or getting to safety – starts in the fleet window. You open it via your Fleet base, via the plus button in the fleet overview, or on the Galaxy map via the crosshair button in a planet's window. A fleet command always launches from the planet you currently have selected, so switch to the one where your ships are parked first.
Step by step
- Set the target: Enter galaxy, system and position and confirm with "Choose" – or pick one of your planets from the "Your planets" list. Planets with an activated teleporter are marked with [T] there.
- Pick your ships: Enter the number for each ship type. Clicking the number in brackets selects all ships of that type, and "Select all ships" takes the whole fleet.
- Choose a mission: The game only offers the missions that are possible with these ships and this target – for example, colonizing only works with a Colony ship on a free position. All missions are explained on the Missions page.
- Speed and cargo: Choose a speed between 10 and 100% and load resources – one by one, with "Max" or with "Select all". Distance, flight time, fuel costs and cargo space are shown right away. Keep in mind: the fuel takes up cargo space too.
- Launch: Hit "Start" and your fleet takes off. All running flights are listed in the fleet overview afterwards.
Fleet slots
How many fleets a planet can have in flight at the same time is set by its Fleet base: each level allows one more fleet, no matter how many ships it contains. Slots count per planet, and a planet without a fleet base cannot launch any fleet at all. Teleports do not use a slot. The "Slots" counter in the fleet window shows how many are still free.
Recalling flights
You can cancel a running flight as long as it has not reached its target yet. The fleet turns around and needs as long for the way back as it has already been flying. You get back part of the fuel for the distance you did not fly.
