Tech tree

The tech tree shows you every building, research, ship and defense – and what you still need for each of them.

Where do I find it?

You find the tech tree in the planet info, which you open via the info icon next to your planet selection. It is split into four collapsible sections: buildings, research, ships and defense. Click a heading to expand or collapse the section.

Each row shows the name on the left and all requirements on the right, in the format “Name [Level X]”.

What do the colors mean?

Green: this requirement is met.
Red: you are still missing this requirement.

If an entry only shows green requirements, you can build or research it right away – as long as you have the resources. For the Scanner ship, one of the requirements isn't a level but a completed data disc (Data discs).

Planet or account?

Building requirements refer to the planet you currently have selected – another planet may look completely different. Research, on the other hand, applies to your whole account.
