Privacy & Data Protection
Who may read your messages, what you need to consent to and how to keep your account safe.
Private messages and chats stay private. So that the team can still step in if the game rules or the terms and conditions are violated or a crime is committed, the game asks for your consent. You will find it in the settings under privacy.
The two consents
- In-game messages: you agree that team members may read your private and alliance messages if a violation is suspected (Messages & reports).
- SpaceInvasion chat: you agree that team members may read your whisper, global and alliance chat messages if a violation is suspected (Chat & community).
Without the respective consent you cannot use the message system or the chat. Everything else – building, researching, flying, fighting, alliances – you can keep playing in full. You can change your choice at any time with "update privacy". Other players then see a notice that you do not use the message system.
How to keep your account safe
- Never share your password. No team member will ever ask you for it.
- Do not publish game content such as messages, fleet movements, spy reports or coordinates in the forum or chats – the game rules forbid it. You may only show battle reports in the matching forum section, without coordinates and no earlier than 3 hours after the battle.
- You will find the privacy policy via the "Privacy" link at the bottom of every wiki page.
