Points & Attack Zones

How points are earned, who may attack whom, when players become inactive and which protection rules apply.

Your points show how big your empire is: they grow with everything you build, research and deploy as ships and defenses. They determine your place in the ranking and therefore whom you may attack – and who may attack you. Besides the points ranking there are other rankings, for example by the spice value of your account.

Whom you may attack

In SI2 Endless a points range applies: you can attack and spy on players who have between 25 % and 400 % of your points. In return, everyone for whom you fall within this range can attack you.

In addition, every player belongs to an attack zone (AZ) depending on their points. The lowest zone is protected: players in AZ 1 can only be attacked by players from AZ 1. Among other things, the higher zones determine how much you get from events and the Interdimensional Transmitter.

Inactive players

Anyone who does not log in for 7 days is considered inactive and appears in yellow in the galaxy (Galaxy map). For inactive players the points range loosens step by step:

  • Inactive for 7 to 14 days: only the lower limit still applies – there is no upper limit for attacking them.
  • Inactive for 14 days or more: no limit at all, anyone can attack them.
  • After 30 days without logging in the account is deleted – unless it is in vacation mode.

Who can never be attacked

You cannot attack members of your own alliance, players from alliances your alliance has a coalition with or is linked to as a wing, game operators, players in vacation mode (blue in the galaxy) and players you have registered an IP match with. A non-aggression pact, on the other hand, is an agreement between alliances – technically, attacks are still possible (Diplomacy).

Bash protection

You may attack the same planet at most three times within 24 hours. In an alliance war this limit is lifted – but only against opponents who have at least half of your points.

Speed-up for catching up

If you are far behind the number one, the Speed-up accelerates production, construction, research and fleets. Deliberately reducing your points to stay in the speed-up is forbidden.
