The solar cannon is the crown of your defense. In attack, shield and hull it beats every other gun. In return, it requires Weapons factory level 10, Energy technology level 10 and Targeting systems level 10.

+ A single solar cannon has as much attack as two laser cannon batteries.
+ Bonus damage against the Destroyer and the Imperial star base.
– Very expensive, especially in kryptonite. The Battle ship deals bonus damage to it.
– Less firepower for its price than the Interval cannon or the Laser cannon battery.

Background

Based on the weapons technology solar destruction, the solar cannon is a powerful weapon, which can break through any ship’s hull. The cannons armor is slightly weaker against the weapons of the battle ship and the imperial star base.
