Laser cannon battery

Strong in attack and shield: the laser cannon battery is the most balanced heavy gun – and the bane of stealth bombers.

The laser cannon battery combines 1,000 attack with 400 shield and a thick hull. That makes it the most well-rounded heavy gun below the Solar cannon. It requires Targeting systems level 10 and Energy technology level 8.

+ Bonus damage against the Stealth bomber.
+ A strong shield and plenty of hull.
+ Lots of attack for its price – only the Interval cannon does better here.
– The Destroyer deals bonus damage to it. It does not hold up well against large destroyer fleets.

Background

The laser cannon battery is one of the best defense system ever built. It is very well armored and has an impressive fire power and specific targeting system to track stealth bomber. A fight against the mighty destroyer however often ends in the loss of the laser cannon batteries.
