Titles

A title appears in front of your player name – "Nova" becomes, for example, "Raider Nova" or "Ironhead Nova". The game shows it wherever your name appears, for example in the ranking, in the chat or on your profile. There are 27 titles in total.

How to get titles

Almost all titles are rewards for the last tier of an achievement (Achievements). Once you have earned the achievement, click Complete in the achievement list – after that, the title is available to choose. You get your first title, Spacepilot, for completing the tutorial (Getting Started).

Titles and how to earn them

• Combat: "Destroyer" (destroy enemy ships), "Fleeter" (build combat ships), "Raider" (launch attacks), "Ironhead" (fend off attacks on your planets), "Spy agent" (spy on players), "Big recycler" (recycle) and "Discoverer" (colonize).
• Aliens: "Alien fighter" (attack alien planets), "Troublemaker" (trigger enrage attacks), "Data collector" (collect data discs) and "Alien Killer" (chase aliens away).
• Economy: "Miner" (all four mining achievements), "Trader" (transport resources), "Extractor" (extract Urplasma), "Builder" (upgrade your Fusion plant) and "Investigator" (many research fields at level 15).
• Special feats: "Lucky" (win the SI lottery), "Imperator" (first place in the ranking), "Leader" (lead an alliance for 180 days) and "Guru" (invite friends, see Invite friends).

Choosing a title

Under Settings → Players profile → Title you pick the title you want to wear from all the ones you have unlocked – or none at all, in which case only your name is shown (Settings). You can switch at any time.
