Merchant

With the Merchant assistant you swap resources at a fixed rate at any time – right on the planet you are currently on.

What is the Merchant?

The Merchant is an assistant from the shop (Assistants), available for 30 days on its own or in assistant bundles. As long as it is active, the Merchant tab appears on the Economy page, and you can trade one resource for another as often as you like.

The rate

Trades always use the fixed rate Pig iron 6 : Metal 2.5 : Kryptonite 3 : Spice 1. So for 1 Spice you get 6 Pig iron, 2.5 Metal or 3 Kryptonite – and vice versa.

How to trade

At the top you choose the type of trade: with Sell you enter how much you give away. With Seek you enter how much you want to receive, and the game works out what it costs. Then pick the resource and amount – “max” fills in the largest possible amount – and you see below what you get in return. A click on trade completes the deal.
